Where does Santa go in the Summer?
0Last month I was contracted to shoot/produce a 90 second commercial for Santa’s Village in Bracebridge. I had never heard of this place before but I soon realized after speaking with peers, especially those with cottages, that Santa’s Village is quite legendary. Apparently lots of fond childhood memories are created there so I decided to bring my entire family along and test this experience for myself.
I shot there for a day and a half and was barely able to capture all the attractions and features of this unique theme park. I was TOTALLY impressed and my kids absolutely LOVED it, more than Marine Land and Canada’s Wonderland, and have been asking relentlessly when we can go back. From a parent’s standpoint I enjoyed it much more as well and I’m looking forward to going back before the end of the summer (when I’m not filming) so I can take part in the fun as well.
Here’s the commercial:
If you are looking a fun day trip this summer or have ever wondered what Santa’s doing when he’s not in the North Pole, I highly recommend a family visit to Santa’s Village in Bracebridge. It’s a great place to turn off the cell phones, enjoy some quality family time and de-stress. This type of mental downtime is often overlooked but very important for lowering stress and cortisol levels leading to a higher quality of life.
All the best,
Steven
