Wow! Just when I think the day can’t get any better, it does! The Miss Teen Canada World organizers and chaperones are simply amazing and have planned the best week ever for us. Where do I even begin? Yesterday we woke up bright and early and went for an interview on Breakfast Television! I even got asked a question TV on along with four other girls. It was really fun and afterwards we went for a lovely breakfast at High Park at the Grenadier Cafe. I love High Park and it was nice to share it with my fellow pageant sisters. I love when people who haven’t been to Toronto get to experience it, their reactions are so cute! Afterwards we went to the CN tower and got some great pictures. The view was so beautiful! We all had so much fun walking around together in our crowns. The next stop was the distillery where we went for a scavenger hunt. I’ll admit I went a little crazy and found 12 out of 80 tickets and I won a variety of great prizes. I handed them out to my fellow pageant queens though because I didn’t need them all. The prizes included an oyster, gelato, a new phone case, a tart and other fun little things. Everybody had a great time at the distillery and the weather was just beautiful! Afterwards we all loaded onto the buses and went to Yorkdale Mall and had a shopping spree at Costa Blanca. I got a nice long orange maxi dress, new flats, a necklace and earrings all for $50.30. My gift card was for $50, so a mere $0.30 had to come out of my pocket. YES! Much Music was our next stop where we got to be a part of the live audience for a unity festival battle. It was so cool watching the rappers and dancers go head to head in battles. It was a great nice and we were all exhausted by the end of it. Waiting for us back at the hotel was another surprise! We all recieved our Hitec running shoes! They’re so comfy and really cute, I got a nice turquoise pair and I absolutely love them. This pageant is completely spoiling us, I love it!
Today was another tiring day. once again we had breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe at High Park and then we went for a power yoga session at Union yoga facility in Toronto. It was so utterly relaxing and much needed! My back was killing from the super fluffy hotel pillows, I’m a fan of flat pillows and my back tweaked the other day from the extreme puffiness of the ones in the hotel. So the yoga felt really great. Our instructors name was Samara and she was really good at her job; her voice was so soothing!
Following that was more rehersals for Saturday’s pageant and we learned our swimsuit number. It’s so super cute, the girls just love it! The fun didn’t end there though! Next we went to the Eaton Centre for another $50 shopping spree, this time it was at Garage. I love garage so it was a great time shopping in there. I got cute studded, high waisted shorts and two crop tops. I’ll be wearing one of the tops tomorrow to the zoo so you will definitely see the pictures!
