Love via Law of Attraction can help you achieve all your health goals. The Law of Attraction is working every minute of your life whether you understand it or not, and it can be applied to all facets of your life, including your physique.
The Law of Attraction is essentially the belief that “like attracts like”, that positive and negative thinking bring about positive and negative physical results, respectively. If we want positive outcomes in our life, we need to think positive thoughts and see and feel our goals as if they were already reality.
Albert Einstein states “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. Science shows that your mind does not know the difference between fantasy and reality. Let me explain this notion in a little bit more depth.
We all began life as a single cell, this cell divides and divides. An adult is composed of 75 trillion cells. Cells monitor their world very closely and change their behavior based on information they pick up from the environment. These changes are called stimuli, they occur inside and outside of the body. In the central nervous system we find the brain. Humans and a number of other higher mammals have evolved a specialized region of the brain associated with thinking, planning, and decision making; this is called the pre-frontal cortex. This portion of the fore brain is the “subconscious”. It’s a sense organ that observes our own behaviors and emotions. It has access to most data stored in our long term memory bank, which allows our history to be considered as we consciously plan our futures.
This subconscious mind is very powerful. It observes any programmed behavior we’re engaged in, evaluates the behavior and consciously decides to change the program, thus we can actively choose how to respond to most environmental signals. If cells change their behavior based on environmental signals and we can consciously choose how to respond to most environmental signals, so in short, our mind is in complete control of our body.
In layman’s terms, I’m going to use an example from one of my favorite books, “Biology of Belief” by Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. Let’s pretend our body is a Bank. You are working in this bank. The Bank Manager (local stimuli) gives you an order. The CEO of the Bank (Central Nervous System, The Brain) walks in and gives you the opposite order. Whose order do you take? Obviously the CEO’s if you want to keep your job! It’s very similar with our body; Cells follow instructions from the head honcho Nervous system, even if those signals conflict with local stimuli.
What’s my point? Beliefs! The body reacts to our beliefs and our beliefs are built upon our thoughts. When the mind changes, it absolutely affects our biology and thus our body.
Coming back to the Law of Attraction, If you choose to see yourself, visualize yourself, feel yourself in your ideal, healthy body, if you believe this, your body will respond and match your mind. Same goes for any goal, dream and aspiration. Visualize and feel your triumphs, whether it’s getting stronger in the gym, getting faster on the track, releasing that excess body weight or not even physique related at all. If you choose to live in a world full of love, your body will respond by growing in health. The more beautiful your thoughts, the healthier the body will become.
The first step to see yourself with compassion. It’s about taking affirmative action toward giving you the love, value, esteem and care that you deserve. Become your own best friend. In the end, it is you who you spend the most time with so be the best gal pal you could ever ask for. Love yourself exactly as you are right now but also empower yourself to make lifestyle changes necessary for your best health and happiness.
Research shows that the more self-love you practice, the healthier your lifestyle choices become. Choosing foods that are high vibrational, and nourishing, instead of processed, unhealthy foods will automatically, with no extra effort required start to bring your body into alignment with its natural weight.
Exercise will become an enjoyable past time and not a tedious chore because you want to treat your body with the care and love it desires.
How do you develop self -love?
- Affirm: It’s cliché, but “fake it til you make it”. Affirm every morning, afternoon, evening, as often as you can into the mirror, “I love and accept you”.
- Gratitude: When you see your reflection in the mirror and the habitual negative self-loathing patterns begin, Stop! Your body is your temple in which your spirit resides in and takes action through, therefore it’s very important to be grateful to it. Find something, anything, to like about your body and express it into the mirror. Tell your body how grateful you are for serving you every day. This might be awkward at first, but eventually you will establish an authentic love-filled relationship with yourself.
- Visualization: See, and FEEL your body the way you desire it to be. Feel the “awesome-ness” of a fit body and the joy of being able to run around with your children and grandchildren, and feel what it’s like to look in the mirror and like what you see.
- Know: Know that you are a glorious child of God. You ARE loveable, this is your birthright!
Kindness towards yourself (and others for that matter) creates harmony within the body; a loving frequency. Love heals and will bring your body into homeostasis, at its ideal shape, and weight. The more love you give to your body the move love it’s going to give back to you, it’s a Universal law and it all starts with the mind. Loving thoughts and words will correct distorted frequencies within your cells, and bring your body into one resembling that of health and healing.
