How Can I Get Fast Results??
0The questions I get asked the most usually revolve around what is going to deliver the fastest results and after all, isn’t that what everyone wants?
I find myself faced and having to answer these questions all the time and have found the answer is becoming increasingly more complicated. Frankly, there really is no specific answer, workout or ‘diet’ that will give any Canadian the fastest results like most think. The answer relies in an entire lifestyle change, where all the pieces of the puzzle come together.
Incorporating all components of a healthy lifestyle is always my go-to answer. I’ve included three separate lifestyle changes which will allow you to change organically and will allow you to start having a better quality of life:
1) Nutrition & Hydration – Eat wholesome foods with an appropriate caloric intake that considers your weight, age, activity level and body composition. Snack on healthy options throughout the day such as Nature Valley protein bars or Fibre 1 bars with protein and drink lots of water.
2) Move – A balanced exercise regime which includes resistance, cardiovascular as well as flexibility training will help to use all muscles and allow you to become a better-rounded, active Canadian.
3) Mental Fitness – Not only work your body but work your mind as well. Emotional stability and a positive headspace are equally as important as nutrition and exercise. Finding a positive attitude is the first step.
First and foremost, if you don’t like running on the treadmill or lifting weights at the gym, don’t do it! Why not inject a little excitement into your routine by joining a boxing or rock-climbing gym or signing up for a team sport? The options are endless you just have to know what you like to do and have the courage to try new thing
To incorporate all components into your lifestyle, try and be prepared by planning your physical activity, meals and snacks, and most importantly… wake up each and every morning and decide to be happy. The best part about life is that we have a choice – so use the empowering right of choice and choose a healthy lifestyle.
