Daily Self-Improvement Guidelines to enrich the Quality of your Life Long Term.

To maintain an enriched, high quality life as you age, it’s hugely important to adopt practices of self-improvement into one’s life on a daily basis.  There are many ways in which we can improve our health and our overall well-being. I believe self-improvement can be categorized into 4 groups; physical, mental, spiritual and letting go.

  1. Physical self-improvement is body care. It’s extremely important to look after your body by eating healthy foods, exercising regularly and avoiding toxins. Pay attention and listen carefully daily to the unique needs of your body. Eat lots of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, and find a way of being physically active that you truly enjoy doing. Your reward for doing so is increased energy and happiness.  By purifying and maintaining your body you will enjoy the vast pleasures of life for years and years to come.
  2. Mental: Engage in new activities and learn something new. Pay attention to new thoughts and ideas that come to you and then take action. These inspirations are sent to you by the Divine as gifts. They are seeds of awesome-ness ready to you to plant them and grow into beautiful experiences and/or new found skills. Have confidence and take a leap into the unknown.
  3. Spiritual: Meditation and Prayer are very important. Stress is a major factor in many dis-eases. Surrender all discord to God.  In truth, you have no worries. Everything is already taken care of for you. Through meditation and prayer you are able to connect to source and really feel peace of mind. You are able to simply relax, trust and have faith that everything is and always will be exactly as it is supposed to be.

Friendships are another important component of spirituality because every relationship is an opportunity for self-study. You are able to get  know yourself better by reflecting and looking within when something triggers any emotional response whether it be positive or negative.

It’s a wonderful feeling to have support.  Be loving and honest with yourself and with your friends and you will attract the same love back to you. True friendships offer wonderful healing benefits. You are incredible and powerful in your ability to help others too, so be sure to get out there and spread your magnificence with others.

  1. Letting go. As important as it is to meditate, take care of your body and to stimulate your mind, it is equally important to remove toxins from your life. Toxins come in many forms. They are physical such as junk food, pesticides, alcohol, etc. and they are emotional such as negative thoughts, beliefs and people. If you have trouble letting go of any toxin, simply surrender them to God and ask for help in releasing them.

We are all busy with many demands on our time but we really must find balance in our lives and make time for ourselves to look after ourselves. Make the most of your life by taking the steps necessary to really improve the quality of it. You deserve to love and relish every moment.
